Gokotta 1

It arrived in good time and was looking forward to setting the tent up. I’ve spent one night in the tent and I have to say that I’m very happy with the quality of the tent and the space available. Looking forward to take it out on its first through hike.

Thank you for your feedback, Neil — great to hear you're happy with the tent!

Great backpacking tent

What can I say - great lightweight tent, which now I regularly take to my trips. And I am not disappointed with a quality: sturdy, no leaks during the rain, looks good, easy andquick to pitch, freestanding. There is no groundsheet included thus i'm using my own. Still to test during the windy conditions but so far - I love it.

Really great tent

Can’t fault this tent. Took it out for its maiden voyage last week and it was great. Really lightweight (lighter and less bulky than my old tarp/bivvy set up) but sturdy. An extra groundsheet under base may be needed depending on where it’s pitched I guess - but I was ok.
It’s easy to put up and take down with minimal faff. No need to squeeze everything into an overly tight bag, compression straps sort that instead.
It’s really well thought out, everything just works. 👌

Thank you for your review, Rich! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the tent's lightweight design and ease of use. We’re always looking to make improvements and will be making some tweaks in future iterations, but we’re glad you like the current version.

Lightweight but cold

Great price and weight so thought I'd give it a try
+ 1.1kg
+ for it's height it is pretty stable and doesn't 'flap' excessively
+ good head room
+ good sized porch
-- door zip is one way only, so can't open for ventilation or a peek out
- outer is high from the ground (assume for ventilation and weight) but makes tent cold was wind comes under fly
- the two end pegging point cords are too short and need to be replaced with longer cord (and 2 end guys are way too long)
- only comes with 10 pegs and needs 12
- door tabs are way too long and need to need knotted shorter in order to keep material out of the way
- wind affects stability of porch area making space significantly smaller in poor weather
- cannot open ventilation point from inside

Overall it's okay but not my forever tent

Thanks for your feedback, Elizabeth.

We're taking your insights on board, especially regarding the door zip functionality and the length of the pegging point cords. As for the other points you've raised, they are intended aspects of the tent's design, optimised for three-season use. The clearance from the ground is for enhanced ventilation, and the peg count is a balance between stability and keeping the tent lightweight for easier transport.

We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and will consider your suggestions as we continue to refine our designs.
