Please note: Down is exceptionally fine and can work itself through small openings, especially if the feathers become compressed. To keep your garment looking neat do not pull feathers through (this will make holes bigger), but tease them back in and rub the fabric to help seal the hole. Men’s Aktiv Down Hoodless Jacket

I had been looking for some time for this style jacket, I had looked at the Rab and the Patagonia and the Fjern was definitely the best for fit and value for money while being the same spec as the Rab and Patagonia. I’m so impressed I’ve ordered the body warmer version too!

THE BEST HOODLESS JACKET. EVER.

I've been looking for a smart, comfortable and functional hoodless jacket for years and then, I found this.
The cut and design makes you feel so good and it doesn't make your frame seem like a square block, it contours your shoulders and gives off such a majestic feel.
It's THE BEST.

Fab piece of outdoor kit.

Purchased this a few months ago and it’s now coming into its own with the drop in outdoor temperature. It fits well, very warm and looks awesome. It could do with a wash now to freshen up so what would one advise? Many thanks.

As for washing it, we recommend using a down-specific detergent. You can machine wash it on a delicate, cool (30°C) cycle. Make sure to rinse thoroughly and spin on low speed. When drying, use a tumble dryer on a low heat with dryer balls (or a tennis ball in socks) to help restore the down’s loft. Alternatively, you can hang it to dry, but be sure to shake it occasionally to redistribute the down. Do not use fabric softener or bleach, and don't dry clean or iron the jacket.

Fianlly, make sure the jacket is completely dry before storing it.

Nice and Warm

I've had this jacket for about three weeks now, and it fits me perfectly. I've worn it with a baselayer and on its own, and it's kept me nice and warm. I wore it in a steady shower, and it held up well, but I haven't tried it in heavy rain yet. I didn't buy it for heavy rain, so we'll see how it goes. So far, it's met all my needs, and I'd definitely recommend it. No complaints from me!
