Engineered to be a versatile mountaineering trouser made from stretch mid-weight softshell fabric with DWR, giving you the confidence to strike out into the wilderness, whatever the weather.

Wear on their own for Spring to Autumn hiking, and add a layer underneath to continue hiking through Winter. Packed with technical features including a diamond gusset & articulated knees for full freedom of movement, adjustable belted waist and plenty of pockets.

Fundamental flaw in these trousers. Avoid!

On first try I liked these trousers. Quite thin and certainly not value at RRP but a decent pair of soft shells nonetheless. They look good and fit well. Unfortunately I quickly realised the belt keeps getting lost in the waistband and you have to spend an age trying to fish it out. This happens every time I take them off! Its a closed off belt loop so other belts don't fit. After two wears, I've given up on them. I did email customer service seeking an exchange however this was flat out refused which was disappointing. In all honesty, I think I'll stick with the more recognised brands from here on out.

Update : felt compelled to reply to Fjern's response as it's not entirely honest. These were purchased through Sports Pursuit, which we all know has very close links to Fjern. I will quote the reply regarding my exchange query for full transparency, where I also queried if I should contact Sports Pursuit - the reply suggested I should not:

"Please note that this is a product design feature and will not fall under the warranty terms.

If the product is unworn and with labels still intact, you will, however, be able to arrange a return with the retailer directly"

I guess my final update will be disappointed in the product, disappointed with the customer service, disappointed in the reply to this 😄

Belt nightmare

The trousers are very good. Comfy, stretchy and look good.

The only downside is the belt part. Trying to put a different belt on is a 10 minute tast. Why is it not like normal belt slots where you can pull the belt through? Whoever thought that design was a good idea needs to have a word with themselves. Honestly, it actually puts me off wearing them if I do not already have a belt on the trousers.

Top knotch

4 way stretch... very comfortably material and fit (36). Pockets are good. Very happy with everything. Goes with my 3 other pairs of Nord trousers.

Walking trousers

I like that you’ve included more pockets on them however the lack of side vents, clips at the bottom and the change of material is a negative for me. The button doesn’t have any sound feedback when you clasp it. Overall I do like the trousers just wish you’d kept a few more feautures from previous models
