Please note: Down is exceptionally fine and can work itself through small openings, especially if the feathers become compressed. To keep your garment looking neat do not pull feathers through (this will make holes bigger), but tease them back in and rub the fabric to help seal the hole. Lovely Jacket

I really like the Aktiv Down jacket, fits well, I’m medium and there’s room underneath for a base layer and mid layer, nice and warm, looks good and the price is great, this is the second Aktiv Jacket I’ve bought after leaving the first one in a pub, which I’d happily had for a few years.

Downs feathers seeping out of jacket

I have worn the jacket twice and already the downs material is seeping out of the jacket. The jackets is only a week old and I will have difficulty recommended this to a friend or buy again.

Down insulation is incredibly fine and, as noted in our product details, can sometimes work its way through the fabric — especially if compressed. This is normal for down garments and doesn’t impact performance. Gently teasing any escaping feathers back in and rubbing the fabric can help minimise this.
