These didnt work well for me on the hills. While the fabric worked well re breathability/water resistance these were very short ( and I am short and usually require shorter leg trousers!). The waistband also sat strangely and the poppers and zip came undone easily. The vent zips have no inner mesh and so leave your bare leg exposed when unzipped. The fabric also makes quite a loud rustling noise when walking. I've given these to a (slightly shorter!) friend for dog walks and I think they would be fine for that.

These were a lovely trouser but they were slim fit especially around upper thighs

Really love these trousers. Great fit, comfy, warm but not hot, great for long walks in variable conditions.
