An update on our best-seller, now made with recycled fabric, the ARKTIS III is your go-to down jacket when cold stops being an inconvenience and starts becoming a threat. Whether you're pushing into the alpine or battling through wind-whipped camp mornings, this jacket was built to keep you moving when the temperatures drop hard.

Filled with ethically sourced 750 fill power RDS-certified down (90/10 ratio), it delivers serious warmth without the weight. The 46gsm recycled nylon ripstop outer fabric is treated with a PFAS-free DWR and finished to keep both moisture and down in their place. Stitch-through baffles keep insulation locked where you need it, preventing cold spots no matter how far you roam.

The down-filled hood features an extended collar for full-face protection when the wind picks up, while elastic-bound cuffs and a drawcord hem seal in the heat. An internal mesh stash pocket keeps gloves, beanies, or skins close to your core, and the whole package is designed to perform without compromise. When conditions get serious, this is the layer that shows up. Built for warmth, made to move, ready to push Beyond Boundaries.

To keep your garment clean, do not pull the feathers through (this will enlarge the holes), but tuck them in and rub the fabric to help seal the hole. • 3
The overall weight of the garment. Lower ratings indicate heavier, more robust gear designed for extreme weather, while higher ratings mean lightweight options ideal for packability and speed-focused activities.
  • 3
How effectively the fabric allows moisture and sweat to escape. Lower ratings suit low-output activities where warmth is the priority, while higher ratings are better for high-intensity activities, reducing overheating and condensation inside the garment.
  • 5
How much warmth the garment provides. Lower ratings favour breathability and mobility, while higher ratings mean maximum warmth for extreme cold, often using high-loft down or synthetic insulation.
  • 2
The garment's ability to keep water out. Lower ratings are for water-resistant or showerproof materials that handle light rain, while higher ratings signify full waterproofing with sealed seams and durable water repellent (DWR) coatings for prolonged exposure.
  • 4
How well the garment resists wind penetration. A lower rating means the fabric allows some air movement for better breathability, while a higher rating indicates a near-complete wind barrier, reducing windchill in exposed conditions.
  • 5
How compactly the garment can be packed. Lower ratings indicate bulkier items that prioritise warmth or durability, while higher ratings mean the garment compresses down small, ideal for fast-paced activities or lightweight travel.
