Solid jacket for cold autumn and spring hikes

This jacket is surprisingly warm for how thin it is. It's true to size for me (180cm, 80kg), leaning perhaps towards a slim fit jacket. That's especially true around the arms where people who frequent the gym might fit the fit too snug.

It's a great jacket for temperatures between freezing and about 10 degrees Celcius. It's a decent outer layer for colder temperatures as well with a decent midlayer underneath it. Too me the jacket feels made for used in layered systems.

The jacket itself appears well constructed. I haven't spotted any imperfections. Really happy so far. I look forward to using it in more rainy and windy weather to see how it does in more inclement conditions.

Awful Jacket

I bought this jacket after it showed up in a search for waterproof running jackets, it’s certainly not waterproof and it is not water resistant either, and it’ll make you sweat profusely, worst jacket I’ve ever bought.

Wearing insulation while running can often lead to overheating, especially in milder conditions. The Octa Insulated Jacket is more suitable for colder conditions. However, for running scenarios where sweating and the need for waterproofing are concerns, this jacket may not be the best fit. Its construction is more aligned with providing warmth and comfort in cooler, less intense activities.

Excellent jacket

I love this jacket. It is really light weight and packs very small, but still very warm and decent in a rain storm.

I'm 5 foot 10, narrow shoulders but preferred the fit of the large. I'd recommend a size up unless you want an extremely snug fit

Really impressed

I was looking for an early morning late evening alternative to a fleece in the non winter months and this fits the bill nicely. Good level of warmth to weight factor, fit is good but sleeves could be a bit longer in my opinion for energetic sports like biking or climbing but this is my only criticism of a really good jacket. I am 183cm and do admittedly have really long arms. :)
