The Omge 300 is a rugged, reliable sleeping bag engineered for those who demand performance when conditions are far from certain. Built for everything from autumn mountain trips to damp nights in a bothy, it features a resilient, windproof ripstop outer fabric treated with a PFC-free C0 DWR for water resistance. This durable exterior is paired with Thermolite Ecomade insulation—a high-performance, breathable synthetic fill that maintains its loft and warmth even in damp environments. Unlike traditional down, this fast-drying insulation excels in condensation-heavy conditions, making it a dependable choice for the unpredictable British weather.
The design focuses on practical comfort with an efficient tapered mummy cut that provides freedom of movement without feeling restrictive. For straightforward climate control, the two-way YKK three-quarter-length zipper allows you to vent excess heat, while an adjustable hood closure and an insulated zip baffle work together to block out draughts when the temperature drops. When it is time to pack up, the included compression stuff sack allows you to reduce the bag's volume for easier storage. - Comfort - This is the temperature where a "standard woman" is expected to be comfortable. They are lying in a relaxed sleeping position and should not feel cold.
- Limit - The temperature at which a "standard man" is fighting against the cold. They are in a curled-up position, are not shivering and should sleep for 8 hours without waking. This is the performance limit of the sleeping bag.
- Extreme - This is the minimum temperature to use a sleeping bag; the risk of hypothermia and frostbite is a real possibility. In an emergency, a "standard woman" can sleep for 6 hours at this temperature, although health damage is a serious risk.
